Experience Classic Horror Gaming

Prymordium, a team of independent game developers, has launched a survival game that will remind you of Silent Hill. Simulacrum – Chapter One comes with classic horror survival game styles that will chill you down to the bone. It will bring you a thrilling adventure in a strange, dark world filled with creepy environments and puzzles. The game introduces you to Abigail, a girl trapped in the game map with only a tiny pocket flashlight and her wits to guide her. It is up to the players to help Abigail navigate the world, solve the puzzles, avoid deadly situations, and ultimately escape the hellish nightmare.

A Creepy Homage

Simulacrum – Chapter One isn’t shy about when it comes to naming its inspiration. Its focus on psychological story, decayed environments, and reality shaped by some of the horrors in Abigail’s past are all loving homage to the game series. Like the old franchise is known for, the game evokes feelings of discomfort and fear and creates something warm and nostalgic, all the while being frightening. The game will have you lost in a strange world of twisted puzzles and disturbing presence. To progress in the game, you will need to make way through the cloying darkness and make your way out. It means you will need to figure out a surreal mechanism using text clues and unveil the mystery behind the cryptic notes that lie around the place.

While the game is inspired by the Silent Hill game franchise, players will not run into oddly erotic monstrosities as they wander the game map. The challenges are all based around puzzles and in solving the true story behind Abigail’s entrapment. But this does not mean that you are safe from a terrifying experience. Simulacrum – Chapter One’s uncomfortable story and a surreal, nightmare-ish world will invoke a fearful atmosphere and weave similar magic that will give you a Silent Hill experience.
